SCT is a great believer in the Apprenticeship process. So much so the training is part of an integral Personal Development Plan for all staff
In the last 12 months Heather Somerton, a contact centre operative at SCT has undertaken her Level 2 apprenticeship in customer services. Heather found the holistic approach to assessment extremely useful as she has a busy work and home life. Whilst undertaking her Diploma Heather also undertook her level 2 functional skills in Maths and English.
Heather says "One of the best outcomes of my customer services qualification is the confidence it has given me and that when you leave school you don't have to stop learning. I have not taken part in any formal education for several years and it was quite daunting to get back into. However with plenty of support, help and guidance from my assessor i was given the opportunity to showcase what I was capable of and I am extremely proud of how far I have come."
Heather is excited to start her next step in her learner journey - Customer Services Level 3.
